I have a variety of experiences including a web development certification, a B.S in mathematics and working as a student advisor for undergrads. Weather Star
Overview: Weather star allows users to search the weather for cities and zip codes worldwide. Users are presented with an autocomplete list, powered by the Google Places API, when searching a location. The home page features constantly updating environmental news and a mini local weather display using the user's current location. Users can navigate to view today's weather forecast with today's world news as well as the 5 day, 10 day and weekend forecast.

Glass Gem
Overview: Glass Gem is an e-commerce website allowing users to explore (fictional) Italian wines. Shoppers are able to browse wine, add items to their cart and adjust quantity as desired. Shoppers may also create an account and login with their email and password. Passwords are secured with bcrypt and stored in a database along with user email using PostgreSQL and pgAdmin.

EventRite
Overview: EventRite allows users to search for current and future events by city. Events are of all types including music/concerts, sports, arts/theater and more. The user has the option to simply search for events on the Home page or upon registering an account, they may login and save events they are interested in. The user can then view their 'Interested' list and keep or delete events from this list at will. This application currently supports searches for cities within the U.S only.
